FELICIA PANDOLFI

Q: What can you tell us about your background and history?

FP: I was born in Boston Mass. and lived on the East Coast for the majority of my life. I come from an Italian background with some Irish heritage thrown in. Through out all of my schooling I have been interested in theater, fine arts, marine biology, digital illustration, and multi-media. I have a degree in Digital Imaging and hope to make video games with my new found computer knowledge.

Q: Your part in THE EVILMAKER was your first film role, what did you do to prepare?

FP: I have been in theater productions before, but film and theater are very different. I've never done it before so I was really nervous, but if I made a mistake, we just did another take instead of being stuck with it.

Q: Your character Rachel was very "gothic" in nature. How close is she to Felicia?

FP: I'm not what I would consider a gothic chick at all. That was all pretend. :-)

Q: What aspects of your personality did you bring to the role?

FP: Hmm, well you always bring a little of yourself into every role, but sometimes it's hard to tell what part. I think it was the stand offish nature.

Q: In hindsight, what would you have changed?

FP: I would have insisted that Rachel drive a different car then a blue mini van.

Q: So what is the real you? Tell us some of your likes and dislikes. I mean what's your favorite breakfast cereal?

FP: Well, I like video games, action movies, animals, the color blue, anime, and marine biology. As for what I don't like, spiders. I'm sorry but those things just look alien and do not belong in my house. They can be alien all they want outside. I'd have to say Lucky Charms is my favorite breakfast cereal.

Q: What were your thoughts while on the set?

FP: It was really fun, and since it was my first time on a movie shoot I was a little nervous too.

Q: What was it like working with John Bowker?

FP: John's a really accommodating director. He was concerned with our needs as people. I was sick for almost half the shoots and he was really understanding. I loved working with him.

Q: For THE EVILMAKER you got to work with Scream Queen Stephanie Beaton. How was that?

FP: Stephanie's great. She even likes her coffee just like mine. I got along with her very well. I spent most of my time talking to either her or Rob, the make-up artist.

Q: How well did the two of you play off one another? Did John allow room for improvisation?

FP: I thought we played off each other well. John did let us change a few things. Sometimes we'd sit and talk about a part in the script we wanted to change, and John usually let us make the changes when we brought it up to him.

Q: What was some of your input? What was different that you were able to change?

FP: We did some minor changes with the way things were worded and some blocking changes. We really didn't change that much at all, just tiny bits.

Q: Many critics have said that your were the more accomplished actor of the group, how do you respond to that? Do you feel you deserve the SQ moniker?

FP: Well, I'm flattered that they think that of me, but Stephanie has been in the industry for a while, and it's obvious to me. She knows a lot about the horror movie genre and the movie industry.

Q: What are you goals in the industry?

FP: I had wanted to be an actress when I was really young, you know, one of those childhood things, but I never thought it would be a reality. I would like to do some more movies, as for making a career, I'm not so sure, I guess it would depend on what happens in the future.

Q: what actors do you look up to and from whom do you find inspiration?

FP: That's a tough question. I like actor's performances in particular movies, but I really can't think of a single actor that stand out as being one that I look up to. Well, Jackie Chan is so lovable....

Q: What's your dream role?

FP: One of the main characters in a martial arts action flick. You know, John Woo style with the pair of pistols and a short leather coat with doves and slow-mo's? Yeah.

Q: Who's the better leading man, Chow Yun-fat or Tony Leung?

FP: I would have to say Chow Yun-fat.

As you can see, Felicia is a girl after any fanboy's heart. This gorgeous gal digs anime, Jackie Chan, and Lucky Charms. What more could you ask for? Check her in John Bowker's THE EVILMAKER as well as the upcoming THE SEEKERS.
