"Do No Harm" focuses on three young doctors just out of medical school. All three go off into the world and have their own misfortunate adventures.

Dr. Charles goes to New York where he falls for and marries a young woman who sucks him into a world of blackmailing the rich.

Dr, Abner returns to his hometown and experiences alienation while taking up an affair with a married woman.

David, a poor little rich boy, continues his conflict with his father who wants him to join the family corporation. Instead, he travels over-seas to work where he fulfills his sexual kicks and loses a part of himself.

When their mentor, Dean Allison, from med. school dies, all three doctors return for the funereal, make some life decisions, and then fall into a downward spiral of their own making.

Sadly enough, there is nothing interesting about "Do No Harm." Well, the sex scenes seem okay. (That should tell you something, out of all 340 pages of the book, the only good thing I can pull out is the sex, and it is not a sex-based book.) The plot is predictable and the characters are shallow. I didn't feel a thing for them, especially at the end when the author wanted you to.

This book has the makings of a best seller.

"Do No Harm" is a passive novel with no conflict and no great revelation at the end.
