It takes a lot for me to give a negative review, and DEMON IN MY HEAD sure gives a lot to be negative about. Perhaps I should run down a list.

1-boring, whinny characters
2-poor dialogue
3-no plot

I could go on, but everything else just falls into those three categories. Don't get me wrong, DEMONS has a few things going for it, such as decent production values. It would have just been nice to see the time and energy it took to make everything look good spent where it really counts (i.e. #s 1, 2, or 3).

Travis lives with Regis and Larissa in a small house in an unnamed English suburb. Like any young lad, Travis has his idea of the perfect dream girl. His is long and lean with blonde hair and a large chest. Larissa fits that ticket to tee, too bad she thinks Travis is a spineless clod. Roommate Regis has his idea of the perfect man, Travis. Too bad Travis is straight; it might have saved me an hour and a half of my life.

Since Travis can't have Larissa, he tries for the next best thing; a slightly older missionary named Marcia, who just happens to be long, lean, blonde, and well endowed. What's truly sad is this movie is played straight. It would have worked much better as a comedy, there were so many missed chances….

Marcia meets Travis as he's trying to open a meteor that fell into his yard the night before. Once open, they find a headset that can make the wearers thoughts materialize. For the most part, this too is played straight, just too many missed possibilities. The catch is that the more you use the headset, the closer you are to being sucked into a parallel universe populated by you guessed it, demons. The great thing is they all sound Scottish… To me this just makes sense, only demons could come up with haggis….

Save your money and stay away from DEMONS IN MY HEAD. It's a movie with flat characters and flat storytelling that falls completely flat on it's face. If you doubt me, you can find this one at the local store. I wish it had stayed lost at mine.
