METALHEADS

Directed by Bill Zebub

Starring Bill Zebub, Darian Caine, Suzy Lorraine

Review by Douglas A. Waltz

I was first exposed to the work of Bill Zebub with a one two punch of KILL THE SCREAM QUEEN and THE WORST HORROR MOVIE EVER MADE. The first one was vile, horribly shot and some of the worst film making I have ever seen. The second one is hilarious and holds a special place on my DVD rack. When people tell me that I'm crazy for wanting to make a low budget film I show them THE WORST HORROR MOVIE EVER MADE and they either get it and laugh along...or they still think I'm crazy.

Now, we have METALHEADS. This is the first film Bill ever did and you can see a lot of the elements we are familiar with in his other work. Disdain for any coherent storyline, really good looking women appearing naked and guys that listen to a lot of metal. I'm still not sure what the flick is about other than the adventures of a group of metal heads. The film just wanders through their weird ass lives.

I can't believe Zebub got Darian Caine and Suzy Lorraine of Seduction Cinema fame to be in this flick. Of course, while both strip down to just frilly underthings, I still couldn't believe they would do this kind of flick. Bill must have something on them or they are metal junkies themselves and agreed to be in the flick.

There are a few funny moments in the film, but not enough to warrant actually watching it. I have to say that this was his first attempt and for that it could have been much worse. I have seen much worse first attempts in my time. Remind me to tell you about a flick called AXE 'EM sometime.

You want an enjoyable Bill Zebub flick? Watch THE WORST HORROR MOVIE EVER MADE. Don't watch this, you'll just regret it and want that time added back to your lifespan

The self-distributed DVD contained no special features.
