I was ready to write up a nice, long review of Fangoria Video's SCHOOL'S OUT, but opted to merely run down a list of the films weaknesses. Not only do I want you to avoid wasting your time with the movie; I want you to avoid wasting time reading about this movie.

1-When dubbing a film into English, allow for ambient sound. Who cares if the lips sync up, when a scene takes place outside, I want some locusts chirping in the background.

2-The difference between SCHOOL'S OUT and URBAN LEGENDS is that URBAN LEGENDS had the good sense to flaunt The Noxema Girl's rack.

3-Harliquins are scary?

4-How many German Policeman does it take to change a lightbulb? About as many as it does to discover that one of them has had their gun stolen.

5-Figuring out who is the killer is like shooting red herrings in a barrel, and about half as exciting.

I would go, but the jokes would only get worse. Save your time and money, go rent ERNEST GOES TO CAMP.
