There's a lot wrong with John Bacchus' WHO WANTS TO BE AN EROTIC BILLIONAIRE, the biggest of which is that this video is about two years late hitting the scene. Regis Philbin dominated the prime time airwaves with his popular quiz show WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE in the summer of 2000 when ABC went so far as to air the show 4 times a week. In fact, ABC's over saturation lead to the recent cancellation a few months back. Enough is just enough.

The other issue is that WHO WANTS TO BE AN EROTIC BILLIONAIRE is just not that funny. Not even the usually amusing John Fedele got me to crack a smile. The jokes are just tired and lame.

I understand the jokes are supposed to take a backseat to the naked lesbians making out, but viewers need something there to hold them over between the sex.

The one saving grace here is Julian Wells, who plays her Remis character with more Dennis Miller than Philbin. She delivers her dialogue with all the sexual cattiness and frustration of a woman stuck on the sidelines the entire first half of the game and a good bit of the second. The DVD's behind-the-scenes documentary show her to be equally the smart-ass in real life too.

That kinda turns me on....

....the third issue I had with EROTIC BILLIONAIRE is that all supporting female characters are given little in terms of personality. The success of so many of Seduction Cinema's other erotic spoofs is that the girls all get the joke, and the best delivery comes when the gals are just being themselves. That being said, there are so many Seduction titles that would fall flat if it weren't for Darian Cain's self-deprecating self of humor allowing her to be the butt of so many jokes. She's erotic cinema's answer to Lucille Ball.

And she's not in BILLIONAIRE...and it shows.

BILLIONAIRE feature an all new assortment of Seduction hotties, and it will take time before they open up in front of the camera. It can't be easy getting naked and making out while a bunch of strangers videotape your holiest of holies. Here's to hoping they break out of their shells soon. When the audience can see that the starlets aren't having much fun, the audience isn't going to be having fun either...at least by themselves....wait a minute, that came out wrong. It's the fun between the money shots that's missing. This is a Seduction Cinema title after all, viewers can always have fun with a Seduction title...by themselves.
