After a couple of years in the making, Ninja Mission 2000 will soon be ready for release.

In 1999 we began do make an actionmovie, a spoof and celebration to all the eighties actionflicks I love. And finally, after all these years, it´s on the move again!

It´s both an official and inoffical sequel to the 1984 "classic" The Ninja Mission, but most of all a celebration to all the italian actionmovies, the ninjamovies and to the eighties itself.

So soon, the first Swedish ninja-movie in years. Full of blood, gore, action, explosions, bad acting and some very stupid dialoge!

Demento 3 Nears Completion

The much awaited final piece of the Demento Trilogy is nearing completion. A recent weekend shoot for the "confessional scene" turned out to be a success ( behind the scene pictures here) and today the preview for the movie was released. Dan Gorgone is hard at work on finishing the film and word is that it is 90% done with a planned middle of December premiere. The plan is for a new Madsumo song to be recorded just for this movie as well. Stay tuned to the Demento 3 Rumor Mill for all the latest developments.

That Sun to Rise Soon

Significant progress has been on this film in New Zealand where it is being edited. A teaser was released early last week and even though it does not show much it is still helping generate interest in this short drama. Because of the use of SAG actors in the film we have to be careful about how it is released and screened, but as soon as it is completed we will begin the process of submitting it to festivals around the globe. Until then, swing on by the That Sun Rumor Mill.

MINDSCAPE PICTURES GETS ANGRY!

Fronted by MINDSCAPE PICTURES alum Gene Dante (Haunted, Here Comes Your Man), Zany Hijinx Productions brought the wonderful off-Broadway hit Hedwig & the Angry Inch to the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, MA. Co-starring the wonderfully talented Lisa Boucher, the show played nine sold-out dates at the ICA Theater and won rave reviews in local press.

Now MINDSCAPE PICTURES is happy to announce its partnership with Zany Hijinx Productions to bring at least some of the show to anyone who may have missed it. Right now, if you visit our MULTIMEDIA page, you can view three songs from the October 30 show. Additionally, for those interested in seeing the entire taping of the October 30th show, please contact us at requests@mindscapepictures.com for a promotional, not-for-sale copy of the performance.

This groundbreaking, Obie-award-winning, Off-Broadway smash also won multiple awards for its hit film adaptation released by Miramax in 2001. It tells the story of "internationally ignored song stylist" Hedwig Schmidt, a fourth-wall smashing, East German rock & roll goddess who also happens to be the victim of a botched sex-change operation that has left her with just "an angry inch." This outrageous and unexpectedly uproarious story is dazzlingly performed by Hedwig in the form of a rock gig/stand-up routine backed by the hard-rocking band "The Angry Inch". Using songs and monologue, Hedwig recounts her occasionally heartbreaking story beginning with her repressed life as a young East German boy. We follow her through the trailer parks of Middle America during married life to a US Sergeant named Luther, and then get the dirt on her curious relationship to huge international pop-star sensation, Tommy Gnosis.

A note to parents, the clips contained on the MULTIMEDIA page contain some language and content unsuitable for younger viewers. Discretion is advised.

For more information about the show, visit www.angyinch.com For more information about the taping, see the Hedwig & the Angry Inch MOVIES page at www.mindscapepictures.com.

A SHADY TENTH PROJECT WRAPS!

Back on October 8, 2002, the cast and crew of MINDSCAPE PICTURES' tenth project Shady Business, got together for one final nighttime shoot. The picture - a comedy about two suburban-Boston townies whose lives go horribly wrong when they partner up with a psychotic old pal, who believes he's a Marine, to spy on one of the townies' cheating girlfriend -was shot on almost every weekend of September and early October. Shot primarily in Medford and Newton, MA, locations included the Wing House restaurant and Petrillo's Market in Newton. Directed by Frank Parker (who stars in MINDSCAPE PICTURES' upcoming More Than Money's Worth and Again), the movie features a screenplay written by its two lead actors, Zach Lawrence and Chris Conte, and its producer, Jason Santo. Also featured in the cast is Neil O'Callaghan, Dan Langdon, Tiffany Ells and newcomer Nikki Sella as "Casey," the suspected shady girlfriend.

Shady Business is the first of what MINDSCAPE PICTURES hopes will be several new productions written and directed by new, Boston-based creative artists. The movie acted as a great meeting ground for people looking to cut their teeth on a movie for the first time, getting help on the crew from cinema enthusiasts and a number of film school students alike. Included were Emerson College students Pat Hines and Jennifer Wos, as well as Boston University attendee Erica Rangel and Wakefield native Jennifer Howe.

In the coming months, director Frank Parker will put on his editing cap, looking to have the movie completed sometime in late winter. From there, it is possible Shady Business will be included on a fourth volume of the MINDSCAPE PICTURES short film series Bent.

To read more about Shady Business or view screenshots from the movie, visit its home on the COMING SOON page at www.mindscapepictures.com.

MINDSCAPE SURVEYS AFTERMATH AS ITS NEXT PRODUCTION

MINDSCAPE PICTURES is proud to announce its next production will be the short movie Aftermath, a drama about a group of high school students dealing with the death of one of their friends after a Columbine-like massacre. Written by Emerson College student and Massachusetts native Pat Hines, Aftermath presents five characters who act as archetypes for the different ways many Americans deal with tragedy. What's most unique about the story is it presents teenagers as neither children nor adults, but stuck somewhere in the middle, facing a very difficult situation without the life experience to know how to deal with it.

Co-directed and co-produced by Hines and Jason Santo, Aftermath will possibly appear on a proposed fourth volume of MINDSCAPE PICTURES' short film series Bent. It will be the first project to be shot by MINDSCAPE PICTURES using a new 24 Frames-Per-Second MiniDV camera put out by Panasonic, the AG-DVX100.

MINDSCAPE PICTURES is currently looking for young actors and actress ages 17-21 to play the leads in the picture; needed are two women and four men. Additionally, there are open roles for actors in their 30's and 40's playing news anchors and one role open for a woman in her late 30's, early 40's to play one of the teenagers' mother. If we have you're headshot on file and you are interested in participating in this non-union, no pay shoot scheduled to take place in December 2002 through January 2003, please contact us at casting@mindscapepictures.com. Or you can send your headshot and resume to:

BLOOD, SWEAT, TEARS AND ROSES

After production wrapped on its first self-produced horror features, Skin Crawl, written and directed by Justin Wingenfeld, and Satan’s School for Lust (see news below), Shock-O-Rama Cinema immediately went for the jugular with its next film, Blood and Roses. Blood and Roses was written and directed by Texas filmmaker Jon Keeyes from a story by ‘B’ horror star Debbie Rochon. Keeyes’ previous film, the critically acclaimed horror feature American Nightmare starring Rochon and B and R co-stars Brandy Little and Hayden Tweedie, is currently a popular home video and DVD release. Shock-O-Rama Cinema was immediately impressed with the work of Keeyes and Rochon (as well as Director of Photography, Brad Walker) on American Nightmare and decided to approach them with a budget for a new horror film to be produced in Texas. To make a long story short, Blood and Roses is the terrifying result!

Currently being scheduled for post-production, Blood and Roses takes place over the course of one shocking night as the troubled marriage of Charles and Deborah Rosenblad is poised to explode into a full-blown battle of sadism and bloody revenge. But their struggles will be different from those of every other husband and wife…for Charles and Deborah are serial killers. In horrific combinations of violence and terror, the body count will rise and their final fight will be one for the annals of psychotic tales.

Blood and Roses stars Trent Haaga (Terror Firmer, Dead & Rotting) and Brandy Little (American Nightmare, Detention) as murdering spouses Charles and Deborah Rosenblad and Hayden Tweedie (American Nightmare, Barney) as daughter Becky Rosenblad. Keep an eye on Shock-O-Rama news for further information and a release date for this gruesome and macabre horror film.

HIGHER LEARNING GOES TO HELL

Young, beautiful and naïve Primula Cooper (Misty Mundae/Play-mate of the Apes) is sent to a secluded female-only private school while her father travels overseas. “Diablo School For Girls” is an ominous and isolated building that hides its many dark and kinky secrets from the outside world. Upon her arrival, Primula is greeted by Miss Beezle (Barbara Joyce/the upcoming Lord of the G-Strings) - the domineering headmistress of Diablo who has a sinister taste for the bodies and souls of blossoming young women - as well as Phoenix (Ruby LaRocca/Lustful Addiction), a student hellion and over-sexed goth girl who becomes Primula's all-too-willing roommate. As Primula tries to settle into her strange new environment, she begins having dreams of a devilish figure (Darian Caine/Pleasures of a Woman) that can satisfy her deepest and hottest desires. All alone…surrounded only by the foreboding woods that shield Diablo from the world of light…yet dripping with an erotic intensity that her supple young body has never experienced, Primula makes a horrifying discovery: the students are planning an orgiastic satanic ceremony that will bring hell on earth. And their main ingredient: Primula herself! With time running out, it’s up to an investigative reporter (Kelli Summers/The Erotic Time Machine) with her own sensual secrets and delectable yearnings to solve the mystery of the missing students and save Primula from a fate worse than death.

Inspired visually and narratively most notably by the films of legendary directors Jess Franco, Joseph Sarno and Jean Rollin, writer/director Terry M. West (Blood for the Muse) has crafted an intense and atmospheric sexploitation creep-show that will surely please fans of the genre and the filmmakers above. Satan’s School for Lust - a twisted tale of erotic debauchery, violence, and dark Satanic hijinx where good girls go bad and bad girls go worse - will teach you that hell ain’t a bad place to be. The DVD includes the uncut feature film, the award-winning bonus feature film, Blood for the Muse, also written and directed by Terry West, deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes of Satan’s School for Lust, and a full-color, 8-page collectible booklet. FREAK’N OUT

"If Looks Could Kill, You're Already Dead…" That’s the all-too-telling tag-line for writer/director Tyler Tharpe’s macabre and chilling horror feature Freak, experiencing its premiere release in February 2003 on Shock-O-Rama Collector’s Edition DVD.

Twenty-five years ago the horror began, deformed and hideous. Now it is about to start all over again, this time even more frightening and bloodthirsty…and uglier! A homicidal monstrosity has just broken out of a maximum security mental asylum for the criminally insane, and nothing can prepare the surrounding countryside for the bone-crushing brutality of his rampage. Into this waking nightmare come sisters Stacy and Jodi, innocently passing through town, and Jason, the asylum van driver responsible for unleashing the freak. Amidst all the killings, they could not possibly imagine the unspeakable terror and madness in store for them as they now become the hunted. Fighting for their lives, they end up at the freak's abandoned childhood home for the final confrontation…and he has enough gruesome memories to fuel his bloodlust.

Though significantly inspired by and paying homage to such horror classics as Halloween and Friday the 13th, Freak attempts to avoid many of the (what have since become) standard clichés of the genre while still possessing the ability to deliver the creepy thrills in original and extremely effective ways.

Tag-teamed with Freak is the 25-minute horror short Headcheese by Texas filmmakers Duane Graves and Justin Meeks and co-produced by Kim Henkel (writer of the original The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the upcoming remake). Headcheese nestles the viewer cozily within the diseased mind of a serial killer as he confronts the lurking demons that have driven him to madness and murder.

An essential ingredient that makes Headcheese so spooky and disturbing is where it was filmed: in, around and on several of the now legendary locations of the original The Texas Chainsaw Massacre including Quick Hill, near Round Rock, Texas, where Leatherface’s house stood before it was moved to Kingsland, Texas, and now serving as a cozy family restaurant. Quick Hill has the remains of the original barn, an old junked car, dead trees and the foundation of the house. Another location was the graveyard in Leander, Texas, made infamous at the beginning scene of Chainsaw. One monument, in particular, will be creepily evident - the obelisk-like grave marker upon which the corpse sculpture was propped in all its gruesome glory. The final location was the old country gas station near Bastrop, Texas, now called “Ryan’s Hills Prairie Grocery.” The dirt parking lot, the pumps, the decrepit ol’ one-story are all there in Headcheese. All that’s missing is Jim Siedow as the Old Man and the retarded windshield washer attendant.

DVD Extras for this Collector’s Edition release include Freak audio commentary by director Tharpe with select cast and crew as well as behind-the-scenes and bloopers; and Headcheese audio commentary by filmmakers Graves and Meeks. Also included is a full-color, 8-page collectible booklet featuring photos and stories on both films with a special Headcheese Forward by TTCM scribe and TTCM Part 4 writer/director, Kim Henkel.

DOUBLE YOUR HORROR

Retro Shock-O-Rama Cinema is proud to announce that it has recently licensed two long-forgotten cult horror films from 70s sexploitation filmmaker Nick Philips - Satan’s Black Wedding and Criminally Insane (a.k.a. Crazy Fat Ethel), both from 1975. Embracing a low-budget aesthetic with gusto and delivering one-of-a-kind grind house cinema fodder a la Andy Milligan that was both big on macabre chills and dripping with a palpably sleazy atmosphere, Philips, directing under the pseudonym Philip Miller for Satan’s Black Wedding, created two shockers that were classics of its kind. Retro Shock-O-Rama is currently going through the various original film elements supplied by Philips for both films, and it will announce a release date for this creepy duo - released as a double bill in 1975 - in the coming months.

Criminally Insane - “250 Pounds of Maniacal Fury!” states the original theatrical pressbook - finds obese protagonist Ethel Janowski (Priscilla Alden) released from an asylum for the criminally insane in the care of her grandmother. Returning to the grandmother’s sinister Victorian house, what little is left of Ethel’s mind soon gives way, and she turns into a cold-blooded killer - her gluttonous appetite for enormous amounts of food is equaled by her insatiable hunger for blood. Ethel’s problem now becomes what to do with the bodies of her numerous victims, and as the police close in, the solution becomes all too readily apparent.

Satan’s Black Wedding - one hundred and fifty years ago a small monastery near Monterey, California, was discovered to contain the graves of several vampires. Local writer Nina Gray begins work on a historical novel that depicts the ghoulish events and killings that have taken place at the monastery. When Nina dies under mysterious circumstances, her brother Mark begins his own investigation. After finding his dead sister’s severed finger, one gruesome discovery leads to another, climaxing with several shocking deaths and the most diabolical ritual imaginable - a Black wedding. As its tag-line in its 1975 theatrical pressbook states, Satan’s Black Wedding is a “Blood Marriage of Ghouls!”…and divorce is not an option. ``

BLAX FAX

Two classic cult blaxploitation films from the legendary ‘B’ movie tag-team of producer Sam Sherman and director Al Adamson of Independent-International Pictures will be seeing their February 2003 release on Shock-O-Rama Cinema’s “Urban Shocks” VHS and DVD. Sherman reports that Mean Mother and Black Heat (a.k.a. The Murder Gang, Girls’ Hotel) played to packed houses on the urban grind house and drive-in movie circuits back in the day, and there’s no reason to doubt him; both of these films deliver what fans of this popular genre wanted, namely a tough-as-nails black hero, slam-bang action, plenty of gunplay, and lots of beautiful women.

With the smash success of such films as Shaft, Hammer, Superfly, and Black Caesar, it was only natural that Independent-International would immediately jump into the mix with its own brand of original and thrilling black exploitation. 1973’s Mean Mother was directed by Argentina-born exploitation veteran Leon Klimovsky (A Bullet for You Django, Orgy of the Vampires, A Dragonfly for Each Corpse) with several U.S. location scenes directed by Al Adamson. Mean Mother stars Clifton Brown (a.k.a. Dobie Gray, the rock singer behind the 70’s hit song, “Drift Away”) as the titular ‘mean mother,’ “Smashing the Man and the Mob for his Women,” as the ad slicks, theatrical press books, and lobby cards so subtly promote! Sherman produced and Adamson directed the high octane Black Heat in 1976, utilizing a cast of actors, including Geoffrey Land and J.C. Wells, that would later appear in his horror film Nurse Sherri (released in October 2001 by Shock-O-Rama as The Possession of Nurse Sherri). Black Heat stars Timothy Brown (co-star of Nashville) as “Kicks Carter,” an LA cop bent on bringing down the Detroit drug and munitions dealer who killed his partner. Russ Tamblyn of West Side Story, Dracula Vs. Frankenstein, Satan’s Sadists, and War of the Gargantuas fame also co-stars, playing a sleazy, psycho, small-time crook named Ziggy with a vicious streak a mile long.

DVD bonus material for Black Heat includes audio commentary by Sam Sherman, theatrical trailers for both the Black Heat and The Murder Gang versions, the theatrical title sequence for the Girls’ Hotel version, deleted scenes, and a “lost” sex scene. Mean Mother DVD extras include Sherman audio commentary and a theatrical trailer. As an special added bonus, each DVD release will also include a full-color collectible booklet that reproduces the original theatrical press books for that film and feature extensive liner notes by Al Adamson authorities Chris Poggiali and David Konow

Todd Sheets' Lords Of Chaos is currently in pre-production for a NOVEMBER 2004 start date. The film, based on a nightclub dedicated to the Black Metal scene, with music and appearances by many stars of that scene, is a true Horror film and one of the most SHOCKING projects ever to be a part of the Extreme stable of films. It is a brutal film, uncompromising and full of some very horrible things. "A full-on return to true horror" as Todd calls it. The film is set in America and is about a group of people who form a kind of "cult" based on the scene in Norway that resulted in hate crimes and murder.

"The really frightening thing about this film," Todd says. "Is that it is much more realistic than a film like Catcombs and it is based on real events. This stuff really COULD happen. These people really COULD exsist. And we are approaching the film with this in mind. It will be one of the most stylish films I have ever done, and in my opinion, it will be a film that will leave people numb, yet talking about it for a while. It is our goal to make a film just as powerful as Cannibal Holocaust and Natural Born Killers and it has elements of both of those classics in it's structure."

FEAR OF THE DARK in Post Production!

Fear Of The Dark is the new directorial project from Todd Sheets. The film, produced by Chris Morrison, is a return to the traditional Horror film, about ghosts, hauntings and supernatural elements. No need to worry though, these ghosts are not trying to give people any messages, nor do they simply want help... These ghosts are angry and ready to enact revenge on any humans in their path. A new cast of faces, a few old friends and some great effects await in the new one, shot over 6 weeks this past Summer. A theatrical premiere is currently in the planning stages at the AMC 30 in Olathe, Kansas for early Winter, probably around Christmas.

DREAMING PURPLE NEON is being prepped now for a Spring 2003 start!

Finally, the road/buddy/vampire epic is coming to the screen in 2003. Production will begin in late Spring 2003 and will last an estimated 7 weeks. Effects artists, actors, actresses and bands with crazy music are invited to send us e-mail or contact Extreme Entertainment via this website! The film is a Horror/Comedy with more vampires than you can shake a stake at!!!

WHAT in the Hell is SCORN?

Another hot project that should be filming in 2003 is the gothic Action/Fantasy SCORN. If there were ever a female version of Batman, this would be it! When her life is totally devastated on her wedding day, one woman takes revenge into her own hands... and the results are thrilling, tragic and intense! Not a typical low budget film, this script is amazing, smart and dark.... SCORN will be the film to break Extreme into a whole new market, and as such, is being prepped now! See upcoming projects for more info.

For the sixth year in a row, MicroCineFest has turned on audiences to off-beat, D.I.Y., psychotronic, substream films and videos from all over the world. Despite rain and cold weather, the festival experienced consistent good attendance, and perhaps the best audience response in the festival's history.

Most of the festivities took place at The G-Spot, an “audio-visual playground”in Baltimore’s Hampden neighborhood. Halloween night took place at the Bengies Drive-In with a screening of Jack Hill's classic 1964 masterpiece SPIDER BABY, along with horror trailers, cartoons, and Three Stooges shorts. Debut Film Release:

I'll BURY YOU TOMORROW

New Millennium Pictures, LTD. presents its debut feature, an independent horror/thriller titled I?LL BURY YOU TOMORROW. Presently in search of distribution, I'LL BURY YOU TOMORROW has been named ?Feature Film Winner? at Telluride Indiefest 2002, ?Best Horror Feature Film? at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival and awarded ?Best Make Up Design? at The B-Movie Theater Film Festival. I?LL BURY YOU TOMORROW has also been named Official Film Finalist at the Gulf Coast Film & Video Festival, the Festival of the Macabre and The Haunted Newport Horror Film Festival. Other nominations included Best Actress (Zoë Daelman Chlanda) and Audience Award at the Firelight Shocks Independent Film Festival and Best Set Design at the B-Movie Theater Film Festival.

I'LL BURY YOU TOMORROW Laid To Rest

Is there love after death? Only the small community of Port Oram can answer that. When a mysterious young woman named Dolores Finley (Zoë Daelman Chlanda) appears out of nowhere to begin work at the Beech Funeral Home, the local mortuary soon turns into more than just a quiet place of rest. Dolores? passion for cadavers gives new meaning to the phrase ?disturbing the piece.? In these stagnant times of ?politically correct? filmmaking, I'LL BURY YOU TOMORROW continues the tradition of those great B-slasher flicks from the 1970?s such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), Don?t Look In The Basement (1973), The Honeymoon Killers (1970) and The Last House On The Left (1972). Combining murder, mayhem, body snatching and necrophilia to a roster of twisted characters, I'LL BURY YOU TOMORROW is an absolute must for horror fans who lust for some good old fashioned blood shedding and a large body count!

I'LL BURY YOU TOMORROW is written and directed by New Jersey native, Alan Rowe Kelly, and produced by Gary Malick, Tom Cadawas, Anthony Ancona and Jack Malick. Along with a cast of 51 actors from the metropolitan area, writer/director, Kelly makes his acting debut playing opposite upcoming actors, Zoë Daelman Chlanda (Vulgar 2002), Jerry Murdock (One Life To Live), Bill Corry (Ghost Stories), P.J. Mehaffey (Bravo?s The ?IT? Factor), Katherine O?Sullivan, Renée West and Kristen Overdurf. The feature introduces an original score by Tom Burns and songs from NJ?s top cult bands, The Dead Elvi, My Pocket Zoo and Volume.

Another screening at the Anthology is soon to be booked

Hello,

I hope life is treating you well. Awhile back you were gracious enough to do a story for me on Buster Douglas making his film debut in my feature film Pluto's Plight. www.plutosplight.com I have had people respond to my site, saying they read about the movie at your site and were asking about a trailer/preview of the movie. It was not available until now. It can now be seen by doing the following: Go to www.empiremovies.com and click on the trailer link. It can be seen in Windows Media format. I would sincerely appreciate it if you could let your readers know about this. Thanks again for all.

From Mark Pirro:

As some of you are probably aware, the DVD release date for Polish Vampire and Queerwolf has changed. MTI video felt that they were rushing out the titles just to try and get them out for Halloween, but that wasn’t the best marketing strategy. Therefore they have pushed back the release date to December 17th – just in time to be stocking stuffers. Evidently, they discovered that these were a couple of titles that they don’t want to just “dump” on the market. In preparation for the release, ads are being properly placed in video magazines, interviews are being granted, and articles are being published. New prices have been set as well. What I believe started as a $14.95 retail price tag has now become $19.95 for Polish Vampire and $24.95 for Queerwolf. The lame box art will remain the same. As always, I’ll keep you up to date on any new developments.

As we approach day 22 of production on Rectuma, we have over an hour of edited footage in the can. We’re about half way through the script and I think that when we’re done with production, some cuts will have to be made. If we follow our current route, this movie will wind up over two hours long and that won’t do. I don’t want this film to run much longer than 90 minutes. I’m one of those shorter is better advocates, especially for a comedy. So when it’s all shot and a roughcut is edited, I will determine what stays and what goes. However, thanks to DVDs, we can always add deleted scenes to the package.

Thanks to those of you who send us letters offering your help on our productions. I appreciate the offers, really. However, we have gotten our productions so tight that we really don’t need any extra hands (unless it’s a day when we’re shooting extras). We can actually film with a three man crew (and less at times) and any extra people on the set are just excess. Some of you know that our productions are not structured like standard mainstream motion pictures. We don’t have a full crew where every job has a specific person in charge. This way, when we schedule a day at a specific location, with a minimal crew we can get in, shoot and get out virtually unnoticed. This eliminates the need for security, permits, insurance, etc. We can film pretty much anywhere and not attract attention. That’s how our productions go on. However, every now and then we get into a more “legitimate” production, where we play a little bit more by the rules. If the budget is a little higher and the schedule a little tighter, we can bring on extra crew members. When that happens, we will make an announcement here on this website and at that time we will welcome letters of inquiry from potential employees. As always, thank you for your continued support.

News from Seduction Cinema:

NO STRINGS ATTACHED

The Lord of the G-Strings: Femaleship of the String, Seduction Cinema's newest erotic spoof and its biggest and funniest film to date, has recently completed an exciting and intense production schedule in Northern New Jersey - an impressive substitute for New Zealand as Middle Earth! It now forges ahead to post-production into the very capable hands of writer-director Terry West (Satan's School for Lust) and editor George Freeway (My Vampire Lover).

The Lord of the G-Strings stars SC Girl Misty Mundae (Play-mate of the Apes), Darian Caine (Pleasures of a Woman) and A.J. Khan (The Erotic Mirror) as a trio of diminutive Throbbits - Dildo Saggins, Horny and Spam - along with Barbara Joyce (Satan's School for Lust), Allanah Rhodes (Erotic Survivor 2), Anoushka (Play-mate of the Apes) and Michael R. Thomas (Mistress Frankenstein) as the wise yet intoxicated Smirnoff the Wizard. Together, this cast of delectable characters - and one drunken old geezer with a pointed hat (sorry Michael!) - conspires for epic adventure the likes of which Tolkien himself could never have imagined! The footage is quite impressive, and director West is to be congratulated for delivering the goods on a very involved production. "It was a fun shoot, as all Seduction Cinema films typically are," says West, holding a cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee in one hand and a skinny cigar in the other. "But it was a lot of work, and it required the concerted efforts of an excellent cast and crew to pull it off so well. The girls, Giorgyorgy and his crew guys, all the extras, Mike Thomas and Kevin Shinnick - they were all great, and it's always a pleasure to work with them. It's definitely going to be a fun film…I just can't wait to hit the editing room with George (Freeway)."

The Lord of the G-Strings is currently set for a February 2003 home video release, hot on the heels of the theatrical release of Peter Jackson's follow-up to his hugely popular and successful Fellowship of the Ring.

SWINGIN' & SLINGIN'

Going from g-strings to web slings has been a silky smooth transition for Seduction Cinema as Spiderbabe spins deeper into production at locations throughout New Jersey. This erotic parody of the Sam Raimi-directed mega-hit - $400,000,000 in U.S. box office and now #1 at retail! - is being directed by Johnny Crash from a script by Terry M. West. Spiderbabe stars young and luscious Misty Mundae as everyone's favorite wall-sprawling super-heroine, and you can be sure that her high-flying, thigh-spying action will put a hot new "spin" on Seduction Cinema erotica. Co-starring alongside Misty is the dynamic and delicious Julian Wells (Pleasures of a Woman) as Lucinda Knox (a.k.a. "The Fem-tilian" - Spiderbabe's fiercest arch enemy), Kelli Summers (The Erotic Time Machine) as Lucinda's love-toy assistant, Darian Caine (Lord of the G-Strings), Ruby LaRocca (Satan's School for Lust), Bethany Lott (Who Wants to be an Erotic Billionaire), and Shelby Taylor (Play-mate of the Apes) as a wrestler who has all the right moves. You can be sure that Misty and Julian will be sporting delectable skin-tight costumes in all their curve-hugging glory. Misty's even been training for the past couple of months with a professional stunt coordinator! So watch out evil arch-villains, Spider-Babe is the #1 swinger in town, and she'll prove it the only way she knows how! Stick close to SC News for further information.

YUMMY MUMMY

Pucker your lips and get ready for some hard-core wrappin' and unwrappin' as Mummy's Kiss gets ready for a January 2003 release on Seduction Cinema VHS and DVD. Written and directed by noted horror film writer and historian Donald F. Glut (Dinosaur Valley Girls, The Erotic Rites of Countess Dracula), Mummy's Kiss features iconic B movie star Richard Lynch (God Told Me To, Bad Dreams), Katie Lohman (Playboy's Miss April), and Special Make-up and Creature FX by renowned director and FX artist John Carl Buechler (From Beyond, The Ghoulies, Friday the 13th VII).

3,000 years ago, an evil Egyptian sorceress, Hor-Shep-Sut (gorgeous Ava Niche), was buried alive for indulging forbidden pleasures of the flesh…with the Pharaoh's beautiful daughter! Now Hor-Shep-Sut's recently excavated mummy has arrived in modern-day Los Angeles, and the removal of a gold Osiris death mask brings her back to life in all her sensual lesbian splendor. With the help of a zombified servant, Hor-Shep-Sut must find and reclaim the reincarnation of her ancient lost love whose spirit resides in a luscious archaeology student named Ana (Sasha Peralta). Along the way, Hor-Shep-Sut seduces several female students who willingly offer their taut young bodies completely to the scheming, pleasure-seeking sorceress. Ana, too, begins to ache for the lustful and erotic touch of Hor-Shep-Sut, not knowing who she really is and that they once had been eager lovers in another life. As Ana moves closer towards her fateful yet luxurious encounter with Hor-Shep-Sut, will Ana's fiancé or her uncle, Prof. Wallis Harwa (Richard Lynch), be able to save her?

You won't want to miss this Mummy when her wraps come off. Mummy's Kiss delivers a classic tale of horror with an ultra-erotic and exotic twist that will set your sarcophagus on fire.

FLOWER POWERS

Seduction Cinema is pleased to announce that post-production has begun on April Flowers: International Girl Of Sexy - a super-erotic Mojo-A-Go-Go and spoof of the enormously successful and popular Austin Powers trilogy starring Michael Myers that earned over…one million dollars at the box office.

Sexy super-spy and secret agent April Flowers (Julian Wells/Who Wants to be an Erotic Billionaire) - so HOT she couldn't be cryogenically preserved! - and her faithful side-kick Basil (Dean Paul) travel from swingin' 69 to 2003 to thwart the nefarious attempts of the sensual yet thoroughly mean Dr. Mean (Darian Caine/Satan's School for Lust) to convert the citizens of Earth into a legion of consuming-crazed yuppies! By using a potent love potion and the talents of her stripper-clone Bitters (C.J./Erotic Survivor 2) who just so happens looks nothing like her, Dr. Mean plans to make tons of dirty money to fund the construction of "Super Yuppification Camps." And with equally insidious henchpersons Nurse Not-So-Nice (A.J Khan/The Erotic Mirror), a behemoth wrestler named The Mangler, and Kung Pow the kung fu fighting ape on Dr. Mean's payroll of evil, you can be sure that the psychedelic spy duo have their work and their play cut out for them. Whether shagging Dr. Mean in the master boudoir, using special spy devices to locate clues in Bitter's rubbish bins, employing crafty fighting styles in the lab, or just go-go dancing for justice, April Flowers and Basil will battle for freedom at the drop of a hat…and for a good time in the sack at the drop of the trousers!

SOFT-CORE -US OF ANGELS

Seduction Cinema is thrilled to announce that post-production has begun on Carlito's Angels - an urban action/adventure spoof of the theatrical and home video smash hit Charlie's Angels and the soon-to-be-released Charlie's Angel 2. Carlito's Angels was written and directed by (and is currently being edited by) Agustin, creative director and co-owner of Babylegs Entertainment, at exotic and colorful locations throughout Manhattan, Harlem and The Bronx. An intense three-week shoot with a fantastic Latino and African-American cast has resulted in a deliciously funny and ultra-sexy film that will deliver the goods in heavenly ways.

And speaking of heavenly, Carlito's Angels stars three of the most stunning and strikingly beautiful mamacitas you can ever hope to lay eyes on: Evly Pacheco - film and theater actress, movie producer and former host of Mega 97's morning talk show "Lesbiana" - is the voluptuous "Roxy," Alessandra Ramos plays hot-to-trot "Tina," and Jenni Garcia knocks 'em dead as the seductive "Marisol." Together this threesome of ass-kicking, jaw-dropping lovelies will give new meaning to the term "one for all and all for one."

Carlito's Angels writer/director Agustin is a Manhattan-based independent filmmaker, producer and music video director as well as a director at New York City's #1 Latino Radio Station, Mega 97.9 FM. His directorial debut, the feature film Love=ME3 with Victor Argo (King of New York), is currently on the festival circuit where it has already played in New York, Berlin and San Francisco. Agustin's associates at Babylegs include Director of Development Mario Chioldi, veteran producer and commercial and music video director, and Casper Martinez, co-owner of Babylegs and producer of the feature film Manito - winner of 7 film festival awards from Sundance, Miami, Santo Domingo, Avignon, South By South West, Tribeca and Atlanta.

Seduction Cinema eagerly looks forward to working with the ambitious and multi-talented crew at Babylegs Entertainment to make Carlito's Angels THE HOTTEST and funniest urban flick you'll ever see…and the first in a popular genre that SC hopes to explore further…in trademark SC style, but certainly with a fresh new twist. Look for an April or May 2003 release for this sexy, action-packed spoof.

OBITUARIES

From the Astounding B-Monster Newsletter

Andre de Toth

Film director Andre de Toth died following an aneurysm at his home in Burbank, Calif. He was reportedly 89, but accounts of his actual age varied. The director is best known to cult-film fans for the 1953 3-D horror classic "House of Wax" starring Vincent Price. It is considered by many to be the best film to emerge from the short-lived 3-D craze. Ironically, de Toth couldn't enjoy the visual gimmick himself, as he had only one eye. de Toth was born in Hungary where he obtained a law degree before deciding on an acting career. He held several positions in the Hungarian film industry being fleeing to England at the start of WWII. He worked for producer Alexander Korda before emigrating to the U.S. in 1942. He directed a handful of B pictures and in 1950 wrote the Academy Award-nominated story for the influential western, "The Gunfighter," which starred Gregory Peck. de Toth went on to direct several well-received westerns including "Carson City," "Last of the Comanches," "Springfield Rifle" and "Man in the Saddle." He also worked in television directing episodes of such series as "Maverick" and "77 Sunset Strip." He was married seven times, once to actress Veronica Lake in 1944. They divorced in 1952. Something of a Renaissance Man, de Toth was a sculptor, a pilot, a race-car driver and enjoyed scuba diving.
